Motor Driving School

The Project is started by CSRL in association with Petronet LNG Foundation in Oct 2017 in Jammu & Kashmir. Under this project, 240 unemployed youth of Kashmir will be provided training on motor driving from Maruti Driving School - Jamkash Vehicleades, Hyderpora Srinagar.

The objective of the project is to train the youths in driving and make them employable. The programme has been designed to provide formal and professional training to the youth of Srinagar for learning the driving skill. Candidates of Srinagar district within the age group of 18-30 years have been selected for the project. The candidate should be minimum class 8th pass either from the local board or CBSE Board.

Training will be provided in 8 batches of 30 candidates in each group. The training part is divided as under:

  • Duration of training:- 30 days for each batch
  • Six days Theory Class.
  • Five Days Simulator.
  • Ten Days Road Practice.
  • Extra seven days for mechanical training.

We have completed the training of three batches of 30 students. They have been awarded certificates. The next three batches of 30 students each are undergoing.
