Selection Process

Methodology of Selection Process:

A) Awareness Activities: The selection team conducts the awareness via seminars, workshops, meetings and use of print and electronic media as well as social media.

B) SSRP Written Test (Phase I): Physical entrance examinations is conducted across all Government school & Other Schools targeted states under the School-to-School Reach Programme - SSRP, offline mode.

C) Open Written Test (Phase II): The second phase of selection process starts from the month of January to May and that is conducted only on online mode, which is known as “OPEN TEST”. We take registration through our website www.csrl.in then exam centre is allotted to students for the written test which will be conducted through CBT Mode.

D) Interview: After a student qualifies the written test she/he shall appear in the scheduled interview program for the personality assessment. The process will be executed for 27 CSRL Super 30 projects being supported by 14 PSUs. The Selection process covers deserving students from JNVs, Government schools & other educational institute across 312 districts of 20 states.

E) Background verification Due diligence measures are exercised to double-check the veracity of the candidates’ claim to the authenticity of the documents submitted.

Selection Process & Guidelines:

The students are eligible for applying for the Program who hails from underprivileged and rural background. Students from EWS (Economically Weaker Section).

 

Written Test: -

A) JEE Aspirants:

1. Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics & Aptitude. Test duration -2 hrs.

2. 60 MCQs - 15 each in all four subjects. • Section A - 10 MCQs • Section B -5 double-digit integer questions.

3. +4 marks for the correct answer and –1 mark for the wrong answer.

4. Maximum marks -240.

5. Eligibility PCM candidates appearing in Boards 2023.

6. Students should be eligible for JEE Entrance Exam.

 

B) NEET Aspirants:

1. Subjects: Physics, Chemistry, Botany, Zoology & Aptitude. Test duration -2 hrs.

2. 10 questions each in Section I and 20 questions each in Sections II, III, IV & V.

3.+4 marks for the correct answer and –1 mark for the wrong answer.

4.Maximum Marks-360.

5.Eligibility PCB candidates appearing in Boards 2021/2022/2023.

6. Students should be eligible for NEET Entrance Exam.
